如何看一个地方是不是有homeowner association？主要是到MLS上去查这个房子在哪个subdivision。 这个，你可以找相邻的房子来确定。
确定后， 在subdivision中找出其他List的房子。看房子的描述中，看看有没有homeowner association的信息， 是no还是yes，就能够看出来。
比如我们有一个房子在kingspoint,那我就在MLS中选上：

The main way is to check on the MLS which subdivision the house belongs to. You can also look at nearby properties to help confirm it.
Once confirmed, find other listings within that subdivision. In the property descriptions, check whether there is information about a homeowner association—whether it says “Yes” or “No.” That will tell you if there’s an HOA.
For example, if we have a house in Kingspoint, I would select that subdivision in the MLS and check.
看到房子后，打开list， 查看HO/Maint Fee这部分写的是yes 还是No即可。
After finding the property, open the listing and check the “HO/Maint Fee” section to see whether it says “Yes” or “No.”
如果你没有MLS，最简单的方法，就是给这个小区有listing的listing agent打电话询问。
If you don’t have access to the MLS, the easiest way is to call the listing agent who has a property listed in that subdivision and ask.
